My Story
A Journey in Yarn
When my partner was away with the military, I found myself with extra time and a need for something creative to pour into. One day, wandering through Hobby Lobby, I picked up some yarn—armed with a little bit of online inspiration and a lot of curiosity. I sat down and made my very first blanket. Honestly, it wasn't great—but I was so proud of it.
From that day on, my evenings and weekends were filled with yarn. One blanket led to another, then to trying new designs, and eventually to creating stuffed animals and decorative pieces that people in my community began to recognize me for. Along the way, I began designing all of my own patterns from scratch—something I take a lot of pride in, because it means every piece is truly unique to Chunky Charm Studio.
In early 2025, what started as a hobby grew into a business. Now, I’ve expanded beyond just making cozy, one of a kind pieces—I also get to teach others the joy of finger knitting. Sharing my craft, my patterns, and watching others fall in love with it has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

My very first blanket-
Perfectly imperfect and still one of my favorites. This piece was the beginning of it all, and I still love curling up with it as a reminder of how far I’ve come

First gift for a friend-
This was also my very first attempt at adding a border to a blanket. I gave it to a close friend, and she was so excited to receive it. Even better—she still uses it to this day!

Christmas Trees
These little plush trees were the very first product I made that wasn’t a blanket—and the very first pattern I designed completely from scratch. My family loved them and encouraged me to keep exploring new designs.

Farm Animals
A close friend asked if I could try making some animals for her farm, and I decided to give it a go. This little cow was the very first one, and she loved it so much she bought it for her sister-in-law’s nursery. These were also the first stuffed animals I began selling—and to this day, my ‘Farm Animals 2.0’ remain some of my best sellers.
